Field workflow
- Pick a dark site and safe access.
- Arrive in twilight; compose with a bright landmark if desired.

- Shoot raw; track or untracked wide-field both work, match exposure to skyglow.
- Keep lenses dry; bag the camera between sets if dew is heavy.

- 14-24 mm, f/2.8 or faster, ISO 1600-6400, 10-20 s (test trailing).
- Take darks/flats if you stack; otherwise expose carefully and denoise later.
