A 3D sphere of your sky right now: the Sun, Moon, planets, constellations and deep-sky objects at their real altitude and azimuth for your location.
Frequently asked questions
Which moment does it show?
The moment you open the page. The date and time are shown in the top-left corner, in your location’s time zone; reload the page to bring the sky up to date.
Is this a planetarium?
It is a local-sky sphere, not a full catalog planetarium like Stellarium. The labelled markers sit at their real altitude and azimuth for your pin; the unlabelled background stars are a backdrop, not a star chart.
What if WebGL is missing?
You still get a count of objects above the horizon. Use Planet Visibility for a list view.
